  • Orange extract [one-quarter teaspoon]
  • Ice
  • Margarita salt or kosher salt [Optional]
  • Agave syrup [one tablespoon]

How to Prepare and Use It:

  • Get a cocktail shaker and combine these ingredients – tequila, lime juice, water, orange extract, agave syrup, and a small handful of ice. Shake them together until well blended.
  • Alternatively, you can also mix the aforementioned ingredients in a blender until slushy.
  • Depending on your preferences, you can wet the rim of a margarita with the lime juice or plain water, and after that dip it into a small plate of margarita kosher salt.
  • Lastly, pour the mixture from the shaker into glass over ice or straight up. If you blend the ingredients, then pour the mixture straight into the glass.
