Saudi Arabia announced 7 deaths and 1,362 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country to 25,459, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.
Of these cases, 249 were recorded in Madinah, 244 in Makkah, 245 in Jeddah, 161 in Riyadh, 126 in Dammam, 81 in Al-Khobar, 80 in Jubail, 64 in Hufof, 21 in Khamis Mushayt, 19 in Diriyah, 16 in Buraidah and 13 in Taif.
Additionally, there were 9 cases in Ras Tanura, 6 in Kharj, 5 in Baish, 4 in Baqeeq, 3 each in Nairyah snd Baljuraishi; 2 each in Bisha, Dhahran, Al-Mjaridah and Qunfudah; and one ech in Arar, Al-Darb, Mahayel, Al-Mitnab and Trubah.
The number of people who had recovered from the COVID-19 in the Kingdom increased to 3,765 after 210 patients were reported to have recovered.
A total of 176 people have died of the disease in the Kingdom so far.
