The Ministry of Health reported 429 new cases and 7 new coronavirus-related deaths, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the Saudi Arabia to 4,462 and the number of fatalities to 59.
There were 382 new cases on Saturday.
However, the number of daily confirmed cases in Kingdom has not reached the peak yet, and cases continue to rise at a rapid rate.
Out of the 429 cases, 103 were detected in Makkah, 73 in Madinah, 198 in Riyadh, 10 in Dammam, and 19 in Jeddah, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali told a press conference here.
A total of 761 people have recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Saudi Arabia so far.
The ministry spokesman emphasized the urgent need for citizens and residents to remain at home and maintain social distancing practices to ensure that the coronavirus does not spread further.
