Moon crescent sighted in UAE :Ramadan 1441

The crescent moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan was sighted in the United Arab Emarat (UAE) today April,23, 2020.

According to a tweet by Astronomy Center, the moon was photographed on Thursday at 12.02pm from Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.

The UAE moon sighting committee will meet later in the evening, after the Maghrib prayer, and official announce the beginning of the holy month.
