Turkish actor Engin Altan Düzyatan, who played the lead role in the Turkish drama Ertugrul Ghazi, has arrived in Pakistan.
He will also meet various socio-political figures during his stay in Pakistan.
In a post on social-networking website, the actor can be seen saying, “Salaam Pakistan, I will be meeting Make-A-Wish children on the 18th of August, see you soon.”
The children had expressed the wish to meet their hero ‘Ertugrul’.

Earlier, Engin Altan Duzyatan had visited the Consulate General of Pakistan in Istanbul and wished his fans a very Happy Independence Day on August 14.
Angin Altan’s visit to Pakistan is also significant, that the play based on the history of the Ottoman Caliphate’s struggle, was aired on Pakistani television with Urdu dubbing at the request of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. The play gained immense popularity and was watched by millions of viewers.
The visit of Angin Altan will further expand the cultural ties between Pakistan and Turkey, while in the future there will be opportunities to produce quality dramas and films with joint productions between the two countries.
