Saudi Arabia recorded 2,591 new coornavirus cases on Friday, raising the total cases in the Kingdom to 95,748, the Ministry of Health posted on their twitter account.
31 new deaths from the novel coronavirus were also recorded, bringing the total number of fatalities due to Covid-19 in the country to 642.
The ministry also recorded the new recovery of 1,651 coronavirus patients, taking to 70,616 the total number of patients recovered in the Kingdom.

Moreover, Saudi Arabia on Thursday confirmed its donation of $150 million to Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) for its efforts combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
The confirmation was made by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan who represented the Kingdom at the virtual Global Vaccine Summit hosted by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and attended by a number of heads of state and ministers and health sector officials from all over the world.
