
Saudi Arabia announced 3,733 new cases of the novel coronavirus infections during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 116,021, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on thurday.
The Kingdom is witnessing a surge in new COVID-19 cases after it began to ease coronavirus restrictions.
38 new deaths from the novel coronavirus were also announced by the ministery of health, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 857 so far.
Meanwhile, the ministry also announced the new recovery of 2,065 COVID-19 patients, taking to 80,019 the total number of patients recovered in the Kingdom.
