Saudi Arabia announced 4,507 new cases of the novel coronavirus infections during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 132,048, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Monday.
39 new deaths from the novel coronavirus were also announced by the ministry of health, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 1,011 so far.
Meanwhile, the ministry also announced the new recovery of 3,170 COVID-19 patients, taking to 87,890 the total number of patients recovered in the Kingdom.

The rise is mostly due to the fact that people in large numbers have failed to comply with public health measures, said the Officials.
The rate of infection of the novel COVID-19 is rising due to a lack of adherence with social distancing measures, health ministry spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali said on Sunday.
