Saudi Arabia announces 2,307 new coronavirus cases; nine new deaths (May 15,2020)

Saudi Arabia on Friday announced 2,307 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of the coronavirus cases in the country to 49,176, according to Ministry of Health.

The health ministry also reported that 2,818 more patients have fully recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 21,869.

Meanwhile, the virus-related death toll in Kingdom rose to 292 after the 9 new deaths.

Females: 25 %
Males: 75 %

New cases percentages by Age:

Children: 10 %
Elder (More than 65 year old): 3 %
Adults: 87 %

New cases percentages by Citizen & Non Citizen:

Saudi Arabian citizens: 41 %
Non-Saudi residents: 59 %

The ministry has conducted more than a million COVID-19 tests in the Kingdom so far, said the Ministry of Health.

Also the authorities have implemented several precautionary measures to slow the spread of the virus in the Kingdom.
