Saudi Arabia registered 1,881 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on Monday, raising the total cases in the Kingdom to 87,142, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
24 more deaths due to the COVID-19 were also recorded, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 525.
The ministry also revealed the new recovery of 1,864 coronavirus patients, taking to 64,306 the total number of patients recovered in the Kingdom.

The health Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah at the weekend said more than 70 % of the cases in the Kingdom have recovered so far as a result of the country’s treatment protocols.
“We have treatment protocols developed by Saudi experts,” Health Minister said. “These protocols are continuously updated with any new global developments related to treatments and procedures,” he added.
