COVID-19: Saudi Arabia announces 1,701 new cases, ten deaths

Saudi Arabia announced 1,701 new cases of coronavirus on Friday,
raising the total cases in the Kingdom to 35,432, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

10 more deaths due to the coronavirus were also recorded, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 229.

The ministry also revealed the new recovery of 1,322 COVID-19 patients, taking to 9,120 the total number of patients recovered in Saudi Arabia.

Places: Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, and Riyadh.

Authorities have implemented several precautionary measures to slow the spread of the virus in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has banned gatherings and crowds of more than 5 people under new regulations issued by the Kingdom to curb the coronavirus outbreak, the Ministry of Interior said on Thursday.
