Jawazat Saudi Arabia: No return of residents to Saudi Arabia until the end of coronavirus pandemic

The General Directorate of Passports announced on Tuesday, that the residents residing outside the Kingdom will not be allowed to return to Saudi Arabia until the end of the novel Coronavirus pandemic crisis, and that this will be officially announced, in accordance with a valid entry visa.

The General Directorate of Passports recently confirmed that it is not possible to renew the identity of a resident and beneficiary outside the Kingdom.

The Directorate has also specified the conditions for renewing a resident’s identity and the duration of the exit and re-entry visa, and the General Directorate of Passports has set two conditions for the renewal of the identity of a resident, and the Jawazat stated through its official account on the social networking site Twitter that it is required to renew the identity of a resident of the validity of the work permit and health insurance policy.

This came actually in response to an inquiry from one of the tweeters by asking Jawazat: can a resident who is out of Saudi Arabia return to the country? if yes, then what is the detailed procedure for that?

So Jawazat indicated that if the beneficiary is outside the Kingdom, the resumption of the exit and re-entry visa extension mechanism will be announced after the end of the Coronavirus pandemic crisis, confirming that if new decisions or instructions are issued, they will be announced through official channels.
